About Mr. B's Landscape Construction
Mr. B's Landscape Construction LLC is an owner-operated company serving homeowners, property managers, businesses, and general contractors in Carterville, Marion, Carbondale, and surrounding Southern Illinois communities. Owner Craig Boatright brings hands-on experience in landscape construction and site work, along with an associate degree, ICPI paver training, and horticulture certification.
Whether we are rebuilding a washed-out gravel driveway, preparing a building pad, or installing a paver patio, we focus on how water will drain and what it takes to create a stable surface. We shape grades to direct runoff, properly prepare and compact the base where the project requires it, and provide clear estimates for every job.
Our Services
Paver Patios, Walkways & Retaining Walls
we build paver patios for outdoor seating and entertaining, walkways that connect driveways, entrances, and backyard spaces, and retaining walls that make sloped yards more usable. The project shown here features our crew installing a tiered Natural Stone retaining wall alongside a sloped driveway. A good installation starts below the surface. We set the grade so water drains where it should, prepare and compact the base, and install edge restraints to hold pavers in place. For retaining walls, we plan for drainage behind the wall based on the site. Commercial and industrial landscaping
Mr B’s Landscape Const. LLC works with prime contractors on commercial, industrial, and government projects in Southern Illinois. Our services is include site preparation, finish grading, seeding, erosion control blankets, and landscape plantings. Our experience includes working with the local housing authorities and also the veterans administration facility in Marion. We coordinate our work with the prime contractors schedule, follow project plans and specifications, and work alongside other trades to deliver a finished site that meets the owners expectations. Grading, Drainage & Site Restoration
we correct grading and drainage problems that leave standing water in yards or cause soil to wash away. Our services include site preparation, rough and finish grading, and land leveling. Where needed, we reshape slopes and build shallow drainage swales to give runoff a clear path. After grading, we prepare the soil, seed new lawns or restore disturbed areas, and install erosion control blankets where needed to protect the soil while the grass takes hold.
